So about a month ago, I was lucky enough to see Halsey perform at Madison Square Garden! I’ve been obsessed with her music for about two years now, and words cannot describe how I felt seeing her performance live. She sounds exactly the same, if not better, live and I can’t wait for her next album to drop soon.

The band that opened for her was called Oh Wonder, and they’re from England. As they sang song after song, I realized I had heard a lot of their songs before, and the whole vibe was amazing from them. They were so sincere and genuine about it being their first performance on such a huge stage, and I fell in love with their music too-I’m actually listening to it as I write this!

And then Halsey came out to perform. Her opening song was Gasoline, one of my favorites, and it was so incredible. About two and a half songs in though, she was so unhappy with her performance and “technical difficulties” (you shouldn’t even tell) that she restarted the show from her performance on!

Throughout the whole concert, she kept talking to us. She made it as personable as she possibly could, and I loved that aspect of it. She wanted to tell us things about herself, her career, and her future, and some of what she said really impacted me.

I can’t wait for her next album to drop because the anticipation is completely killing me! Knowing her, its going to be just as amazing if not better than Badlands.

I was lucky enough to see my favorite person in concert with my cousin, Chloe, and her best friend Jhenna, It was so much fun, and I honestly wouldn’t want to go with anyone else.
